The BPMN Document tab in the dialog Document Properties

Basic information on the current BPMN diagram

This tab lets you define basic information for your diagram. You find the information fields divided into the following sections:

  • BPMN document
    • Name
    • Version
    • Author
    • Creation Date
    • Modification Date
  • Main Process
    • Name
  • Diagram Attributes: This table lets you define your own set of attributes and values for your process.

BPMN Conformance Sub-Class

The specification of BPMN defines three conformance sub-classes: descriptive, analytical, and executable. By changing the sub-class of your document you will be able to use only elements that are part of the respective sub-class. If your diagram contains elements not allowed in a chosen sub-class, Process Modeler will issue a validation message.

You can also change the sub-class by using the Element Editor, if the check box Show Conformance Sub-Class picker in Element Editor is activated.
